Tingwick Car Show.

Popped along to Tingwick Car Show today giving the Calibre a run before the Really Retro Show at Stafford tomorrow.

Gearing up for the Really Retro Show on 23rd June.

Gearing up for the next event in my Chairman's Travels.  The Really Retro Show at Seighford Aerodrome Nr Stafford.  At the moment cant be 100% sure which car I will be taking, this is weather dependent.

"WINNIE'S" Travels

"WINNIE" Returned to Luton on Sunday 9th June.  Phil Scaife Drove the Car Down from Hull.  While not strictly part of Chairman's Travels, I have included the photo's as "WINNIE" was owned by the sadly departed Vince Poole who was Chairman before myself

Vauxhall Heritage Centre Open Day Visit 9th June

I took in the Vauxhall Heritage Centre Open Day on the 9th of June as Part of my Chairman's Travels.  Lots of Club Members attended, I think we had possibly 20 in total.  The Club President and Vice President were also in attendance.  The Calibre attended this event.

It's the Vauxhall Heritage Centre on Sunday 9th but what car will I be taking?

Two Car's Two Shows at the same time all in one day!!

Sunday 2nd June was not a brilliant day weather wise.  Had two car's at two shows at the same time.  Nearly was not though as the Calibre decided to play up with a flat battery (Note dont open the boot to much at shows, thats what flattened the battery, having it open to much the day before).  Have one car the Cavalier Mk3 SRi 16v at Classic Stony in Stony Stratford and the Cavalier Calibre at Coventry MotoFest where I was joined by the Club Treasurer Terry Stoddell.

Yardley Gobion Festival of Transport.

Baking hot day on the 1st June.  I attended the Yardley Gobion Festival of Transport of which our Club President is on the organising committee of. We had a Club stand and I was joined by 7 Club Members including Silver Aero.
